1. About SabiFind
SabiFind (sabifind.net) is an African diaspora business directory operated by Volition Technology Group. We aggregate and display publicly available business information to help people find African-owned businesses across the United States.
2. Information We Display
Business listings on SabiFind consist of publicly available information including business names, phone numbers, addresses, websites, and categories. This information is sourced from public directories such as Google Maps and is the same information businesses have voluntarily made public. We do not display personal medical information, financial information, or any Protected Health Information (PHI).
3. Information We Collect From Visitors
When you visit SabiFind we collect:
- Pages visited and time spent (via Google Analytics)
- General location (country/city level, not precise)
- Device type and browser
- Referring website
We do not collect names, email addresses, or personal information from visitors unless you voluntarily submit your business via our listing form.
4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Business Listing Submissions
When you submit your business through our listing form, we collect the information you provide (business name, phone, address, website, description). This information is published publicly on your business listing page. We may contact you regarding your listing using the contact details provided.
6. Outreach Emails
We may contact businesses listed on SabiFind to inform them of their listing. All outreach emails include an opt-out mechanism. To have your business removed from SabiFind, reply to any email from us with "remove" in the subject line, or email sabiadmin@sabifind.net.
7. Payments
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. SabiFind does not store credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions.
8. Data Retention
Business listing data is retained until a removal request is received. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google Analytics default settings.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to request removal of your business from SabiFind at any time. Email sabiadmin@sabifind.net with your business name and we will remove it within 5 business days.
